Women's Voices Now (WVN)
Women’s Voices Now (WVN), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, uses the medium of film to advocate for global women’s rights. We carry out our mission with our annual online film festival, a free streaming archive of international women’s rights based films, educational programs, screening events, and workshops. WVN has held special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UNECOSOC) since 2017.
Women’s Voices Now amplifies the voices of all women by promoting the free expression of women's struggles for civil, economic, political, and gender rights worldwide. By providing free online platforms for film, art, writing and social-media activism, we connect people and resources striving for global gender equality.
Women’s Voices Now fills a critical gap in global efforts seeking to elevate the status of women. Through the narrative of films, writing, and art featured by Women's Voices Now, our work continually inspires and challenges women and men to overcome obstacles in the advancement of women.
